Gateway Area Council owns and operates facilities across the Coulee Region for Scouting units, families and community groups. Camp Decorah sits on the banks of the Black River in Holmen, Wisconsin; the Council Service Center and Scout Shop are at 2600 Quarry Road, La Crosse, WI 54601.
Our Facilities
Camp Decorah
The council’s camp on the Black River — summer camp, weekend programs, cabins, dining halls, shooting sports, climbing, aquatics and open outdoor areas.
Facility Rental
Lodging, multi-function halls, program facilities and outdoor pavilions are available to Scouting units and to non-Scouting groups — retreats, reunions, team-building and community events.
Scout Office
Register for a program, buy uniforms and equipment, manage advancement and purchase awards at the Council Service Center, 2600 Quarry Road, La Crosse, WI 54601.
