Family Friends of Scouting
The Friends of Scouting campaign provides Scouting’s character development program to over 7,000 participants right here in southwestern Wisconsin and southeastern Minnesota.
It is Gateway Area Council’s annual fundraising drive and accounts for more than 45% of the overall budget.
Two divisions
Family Division
Funds are raised from the families actively participating in the council’s Scouting program. Families are urged to give at the family level.
Community Division
The council seeks support from local businesses and individuals who share the same values and beliefs as Scouting.
